SmartStream’s response to a recent corporate network outage incident


In November 2023, SmartStream identified suspicious cyber activity involving unauthorised access to its corporate network and immediately initiated its incident response process to secure all critical systems. To assist in the investigation and assess the extent of the incident, SmartStream’s Risk Management team enlisted the services of a reputable and widely recognised security firm with expertise in the field.

We have no evidence that any customer or personal data were compromised, and customer production systems were not impacted. SmartStream continues to strengthen the security of its systems to prevent any incident recurrence.
