SmartStream Technologies is looking for a Business Consultant to join the Professional Services team based in Singapore. Job Responsibilities

  • Primary interface with customers and working with them to implement projects as well as providing consultancy services 
  • Work with customers to understand and document their business requirements 
  • Formulate and identify solutions to meet customers’ requirements 
  • Implement the features and functionalities of the TLM solution (SmartStream’s products) based on customers’ requirements
  • Write business proposals 
  • Conduct User Training 

 

 Key Skills 

  • Good working domain knowledge of financial practices and product knowledge of financial software. For example: reconciliation, collateral management, cash and liquidity management, corporate actions, and back office systems 
  • Prior experience in working with vendors selling financial product software 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Good communication, inter-personal, presentation and written skills 
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff 
  • Proven troubleshooting and analytic problem solving skills in an IT environment. 
  • Willing to travel and work at project site 
  • Good IT knowledge; SQL (Oracle/MSSQL Server) and Unix/Linux
  • Proven consultancy and implementation experience

 

 

Desirable Skills

  • Prior experience with SmartStream products 
  • TLM Reconciliations 
  • Familiar with TLM Control, Configuration Transfer, Recon Admin, SmartStudio & SmartSchema 
  • Knowledge about ETD's, NAV's, Cash, Position and Transactions Reconciliations 
  • Knowledge about TLM Cash Management, TLM Collateral Management, TLM Treasury Confirmations and TLM Corporate Actions 

 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent experience in finance, IT, business or sales related fields 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the financial industry in Professional Services or Technology positions.
