Sales Account Manager

Hong Kong

The Sales Account Manager is in charge of managing SmartStream’s relationships with customers, prospects and partners across Greater China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) reporting to the Sales Director, Asia Pacific, based out of Hong Kong. They should build profitable long-term relationships with existing customers representing the whole range of SmartStream products and solutions as well as generating new business with new clients.

The role may involve: project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, business development and marketing. 



Job Responsibilities

  • Generate sales among existing client accounts by upselling and cross-selling 
  • Generate sales among new prospects 
  • Assist partners in the area, to help generate sales and provide sales support 
  • Operates as the main point of contact for assigned accounts 
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion 
  • Communicates client needs and demands to the rest of SmartStream 
  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics 
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals 
  • Coordinate with other staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service 
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, meeting deadlines 
  • Keep records of client transactions and prospects via 
  • Meets assigned sales targets


Key Skills 

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Fluent in written Mandarin and/or Cantonese

 Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc (Honours) Degree in a business or technology discipline 

  • Account Management experience 

  • Client-Focused Solutions experience preferably in Post-Trade Processing
