Wawrzyniak was appointed Asia Pacific Regional Director earlier in 2004 to drive sales and delivery of SmartStream’s TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) and Corona Solutions in the local market. In the short time since Wawrzyniak took responsibility for the region the company has exceeded its targets, securing new clients and expanding SmartStream’s technology footprint within the existing client base.

Under Wawrzyniak’s guidance SmartStream’s Asia Pacific operation has signed a number of significant new contracts including ANZ who purchased TLM Reconciliations and both Vanguard in Australia and GIC in Singapore who selected TLM Corporate Actions. Additionally, the organisation has signed a number of contracts in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia both through its direct operation and reseller network.

“I’m delighted with the success that our team in the Asia Pacific Region has delivered in the last six months.” said Wawrzyniak. “Our success is due in part to the compelling value TLM and Corona offer firms looking to address the challenges of automating their entire transaction lifecycles. However, it’s also the result of having an outstanding team of industry experts running our Sales, PreSales and Consulting operation. As a company we have been able to recruit an “A” list team to work with the region’s leading financial organisations.” Concluding he commented, “I look forward to contributing to the organisations continued growth both in Asia Pacific and globally through my interaction with the rest of the Executive Group.”

Commenting on Wawrzyniak’s appointment to the Executive Group, Martin Brown, CEO, SmartStream, stated, “We expect our Regional Directors to demonstrate strong leadership, outstanding client relationship skills and a drive and passion to grow our business. In a six month period Stefan has demonstrated all of these qualities which, when combined with his deep knowledge of the financial services industry, makes him a valuable addition to the Executive Group.”
